Part of a Skillshare project submission for the class "Digital Painting: Concept Landscapes" by Jonas De RoOne goal of the project was too add an element "out of place" to our landscape of choice, and exaggerate its proportions.
I wanted to paint some kind of wood or forest, inhabited by a sort of magical creatures, so I decided to go with giant cats (black cats, for that matter). I feel it adds a calm and mysterious vibe to the piece, so I quite like it!
Given this was my first time painting a concept landscape, I think it ended up quite well
