Description Time: 1-2 hrs sketching, ~1 hr inking, 4-5 hrs coloring.
Inspiration: Quest for improvement. Plus I wanted to draw Kory really bad. D:
Music: Various Paramore, Gackt, and other J-Pop. x3

Finally finished this sketch , and I rather like the finished product. I'm certain there are some errors I've yet to correct, but I can't be bothered, since it feels too good to be done with this one. xD; This took ages, but it was well worth it. Dx Inked it using Sakura Microns and a cheap Papermate pen. x) Colored in Adobe Photoshop CS2, with the help of various tutorials for the background. Starfire logo was edited from a Teen Titans cover of old, so it's not mine.
One thing I'm not too fond of is the bg, but it's alright, I suppose. Let me know what you guys think.

Crits are most appreciated and critical for my improvement. :3 Tell me what's wrong with it and I'll love you.

I've also posted the traditional version in scraps if anyone's interested.

Now onward to ink the Raven sketch! D: *busy busy*

Ah yes, I remember this drawing. All of the anatomy looks dead on. Where the leg joins the torso still looks a bit off, but maybe it's the angle or how her leotard covers her. You captured her comic essence nicely and nailed the skin tone perfectly, as well as the curls in her hair.

A good job overall. Nicely done from start to finish.

Thank you so much, I'm very glad to hear that. I'm weary of the leg/hip area as well, but I can't really find exactly what makes it look off. :/ It's probably her armor, as you suggested, in which case I'll have to find a better way to draw it from this angle for future reference. :] I'm just glad it looks good otherwise, I worked rather hard on this one.

Yo nice work! The bevel of her outfit seems a bit too strong, and I'm not sure if it's just me but the lineart seems a bit too thick. Pretty decent work otherwise. Great job on the background.

Yeah, that's something I noticed after the fact as well. Perhaps I'll try adjusting it again (first time didn't go so well, haha xD).
Don't get me started on the lineart, haha, that's always my weak point. *has terribly shaky hands* Dx I'll try thinning it out next time though, it'll be good practice.
