a stamp for the great sarah jane smith as played by the late elisabeth sladen. the first of a series of 'sarah jane adventures'. it took me some time to find the perfect picture to use and eventually found this one which i think is just marvelous. image is from a BBC wallpaper.Related content

She's my favorite companion of all time.
And they're going to play Series Five of SJA, but the fate of Series Six, which they only have half of filmed, is uncertain.

from what i'm told they are going to air what episodes she filmed for series six as a tribute to her. which i think would be decent as it would be sad for them not to just shelve them entirely.

yeah, it was tragic. the series will most likely end now since it can't continue on without her. maybe they could create a spinoff for the remaining cast members?

i think the thing that makes really makes me sad is that there will most likely be no proper ending to the show. it'll just...end.
