i bet that was a lot of comments to respond back to from me, huh ? i just finished watching season 2 +ova, i can see it heading towards chirata -- but i dont mind reading good fanfics, doujins and fan made works to justify taichi being with chihaya. it's even making me want to write a fanfic! your work is really admirable though, i don't think i could ever take on such a big project to draw a doujin. it's great having you aboard the chihaya x taichi ship it's inspiring me to join in too! i am currently painting a chihayafuru art piece right now, the scene where taichi takes that indirect kiss by eating from her spoon .

I really love how you made him confessing all of his flaws and showing his real feelings and insecurities. I think he needs to do the same in the manga too! I love your idea!!
It's like he is always hiding his flaws in order to mantain that perfect boy facade that his parents and friends expect from him. And i think that not being honest it's hurting him a lot. ;_; I dont know.
Anyway, Im really enjoying your updates a whole lot! <33

Thanks Piyu chan. The original manga's story doesn't go on the Chihachi shipper's wish so it's kinda frustrating as Taichi's loyal supporter.
But I do believe that he will eventually show his true self to Chihaya... that's what character development is meant for.
Please do enjoy the next updates as well... after a few days maybe? I'm still inking the pages. (I'm slow)

I love how he pours out his faults to her... but I also fear that it may prove to be a huge shock to her. Right as he starts seeming like a stranger to her, he piles on all kinds of personality flaws that he's been repressing, so I really doubt this will work in his favor short-term... though it's good long-term that he's saying it now. I just don't know how Chihaya is going to react to that. Will she allow herself to be lost in his kiss after realizing this guy has been putting on a facade with her for years? Sure, this is about the extent to which he's been holding back a few truths about himself, but it still could seem like the tip of an iceberg to her.
