Description OMG, I have been working on this forever pretty much! DX But, I'm glad it's finally done. I had been looking at dresses on Next Eve.Com and thought about dolling them..And these girls were born! From left to right, we have: Cherry, Charlie, Bobbi, Deanne, Mishi and Sheebie~ Aren't they just so pretty~? They're just random models I thought up, and this might be the first of a series. What do you guys think?

Oh! And doing this doll, I kinda created a new shading technique for myself, so the dolls kinda look smoother than they'd usually be. Hope you guys notice that. And I started a tutorial for how I do hair..so I think I might post that at some point.

Now, the dresses from left to right:
Cherry: One of a Kind Strapless Orange Red A-Line Prom Dress with Extra Organza Hem (Her dress is also the reason I used so may different filters to get the colors right! 8D (It also helped with getting Charlie and Bobbi's hairs the right color. ))
Charlie: Cute but Elegant strapless Chiffon cocktail dress (I already had the gradient ready for the colors, ended up not noticing it so I made my own colors, then I had to use color filters to get the color at least somewhat decent. XD)
Bobbi: Classic Strapless Gray & White Cocktail Party Dress with Bow
Deanne: Ivory and Brown Elegant V-neck Evening Gown Formal Dress (Changed the brown, though, to sea-foam green. )
Mishi: Lovely Black and Eggplant Evening Dress Formal Gown (I think the color came out close enough, giving it another look. I'm actually really proud of how the black turned out, not too much detail, but not too flat. )
Sheebie: Cute White & Black Strapless Ruffled Mermaid Evening Gown Formal Dress (I was actually super surprised with how quickly I dolled her dress. I was a little stumped on how to make the pearls/beads look less like polka-dots, and I think they look okay now.

And now that the long artist comment is filled..

A beautiful set of pixel models you have here. Each and every one of them is simply overflowing with personality as well as their own personal style. The skin complexion is spot on and the various shades on their skin perfectly emulates studio lighting. The textual designs on their clothing has such a striking resemblance to various colored silks and one can almost imagine the cloth flowing around them as they stand before their viewers. Let's not forget the detail and various glowing color shading used each of the female subjects hair. Each of the highlights are placed perfectly on their hair, giving a more silken appearance to the strands.

One thing that could improve this image is a better utilization of shadow effects on each of the characters. Adding shadows to the characters, both drop shadow effects and localized shadows on specific body areas, can really give that extra push of finesse to each of your character models. If there is one thing that I've learned as an artists is never be afraid to go one step beyond what you can already do. Going above and beyond is what can help you become better than you could ever imagine. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your creations.

I love how the purple one turned out! All of them look great, though.
