I wanted to make something for my mom for mother's day. I thought she'd appreciate some art. I'll be taking painting someday, but I didn't feel confident enough to paint a picture for her in traditional media. So I decided to try my hand at digtal painting.

This is my first digital painting, and I'm really pleased with it. It's based off of a picture my dad took of our dog, Libby, when she was a tiny little puppy. I really liked the picture becuase it was soooo cute. :3 She was actually sitting on my lap when he took this picture. When she was a puppy she wanted to be on your lap every second.

Please be kind when commenting on this. I worked really hard on it and it was my first try at this style. I know there are obvious flaws and things that need improving, but that will come with practice!

And consider that this was all done with a mouse since I do not own a tablet.
