I like making images like this as a resource for role-playing games. Somebody says, "My character has a BB-unit, just like BB-8, but he's purple." Then, you're like, "Well, I don't have any pictures of a purple BB-unit. . . " And then you find this image, and you go, "Well, he looks just like this." Problem solved. Then you can go ahead and give him/her a name, and a personality, and some funny quirks, and you're all set.Related content

I'm working out an idea for a female BB-Series robot with the reverse of this color scheme. She'll be named BB-KP. (The letters KP were the initials of a heartless witch I lived under.) This dictator was a Kansas State fan, so I chose purple and silver for the color scheme. BB-KP will work for the First Order. I'll give her a lot of different weapons; an immobilizer gun, a taser, an acid gun (in case she wants to watch her victims dissolve) and a pepper-ball launcher.
