Way to be a jackass about it. Evana not only doesn't "try to copyright" triangles anymore, doesn't fight for them (only tries to protect exactly how her character looks, not just little features), but she even apologized for it.
Just because she's a popular artist doesn't mean you guys have the right to dogpile on her for no damn good reason.

Like Tsu said, I don't think she was attacking Evana directly. From what I know, Dynie (Raven... feels weird to call her that) and Evana have talked about the whole triangle situation, and Evana even gave her permission to use triangles on a new character just to see what would happen, with the way her rabid fangirls pounce on triangles. And it happened, of course.
I consider both of you some very awesome friends, I don't like to hear one calling the other an asshole/jackass when it's not really necessary. D:
And I don't know if Evana would even see this picture, the comments... And actually, I think she'd probably get a kick out of it because of the way her fans have attacked people for triangles. I know Evana's done some pictures requesting that people leave her triangle alone, but that was probably because there were an obvious amount of characters appearing with triangles after her TLKFAA artist of the month... But I think she's over it now because she IS one of the most well-known people on the internet with a character with triangles under their eyes, and BECAUSE she's a popular artist, she doesn't need to continue making everyone know about her triangles because the majority of the internet already do recognize her as the most well-known triangle-bearing character. If I was her, I'd probably chuckle a bit after seeing this, and think, "Well, my mark on the internet world has definitely been made... Oh hey, I remember this Dynamo... She made that Solaris character... That was amusing!" She seems to have chilled about it now, but maybe I'm wrong... Dynie was just poking a bit of fun, there's no jackass-ness about it... And Dynie isn't a jackass, she just likes to be a little honest, nothign wrong with that. And I don't think this triangle business is even worthy of the main factor of internet battles anymore, it seems to be past its peak.
Anyway, I respect both of you guys, I just don't like to see feuds and verbal abuse over menial things. D:

I'm guessing Dynamo's comment was more a jab at Evana's tlk.org-based fan horde who, despite Evana's wishes, can sometimes get a bit berserk about defending their art idol's characters. If I recall correctly from some of the past art drama, a lot of it stemmed from her fans overreacting and commenting on people's art at tlk.org, calling people out for "character theft" when all the artist did was innocently have facial triangles or a character that shared a few Evana traits. It wasn't Evana prompting that stuff, just a bunch of overzealous fans taking it into their own hands to declare things to be character theft.
So I'm guessing Dynamo's comment is a preemptive jab at any rabid fangirls.
Honestly, I like some of Evana's art and I don't see this as "dogpiling" her by any means. By that standard Humon's nagas could be considered "dogpiling" Snapesnogger because they're pretty obviously a parody of m-preg nagas. Big name artists sometimes end up as the butt of a bit of parody. I don't see a small, snarky comment about a big past drama (that was large enough to hit fandom_wank) as something heartwrenchingly terrible. I imagine Evana's gotten over it by this point.
