Description
This one came up around the middle of the day- I had made a reservation for the Maids' Cafe earlier, but as the time came around, they were still cleaning up from the last bunch of guests.

It was around that time I gotten a call- my parents had come back from a trip in Florida. Earlier in the morning, I told them a bit of news that a vietnamese pho restaurant we go weekly added a new item to their menu: oxtail pho soup. They called and ask if I wanted to join them for lunch. Seeing as how the reservation wasn't working out as well as I hoped, I accepted. I then canceled my reservation and left the convention (which was pretty much a short drive away) for a bit.

From my understanding, the oxtail pho was doing well, so far, so I had a bit of anticipation going for this- and let me tell you - this was really good. At the same time, if I was going to eat something during a convention, might as well be something really good- I might get another bowl next week.

I found I could add oxtail or short rib to my orders for a slight charge more, so pretty safe to say the oxtail pho is a rousing success.
