Diana was sure something was wrong, especially with this man. She’s seen many people who kept a calm demeanor, trying not to freak out. She’s seen many, but none like him. He was clam, too calm.He was strange, always glancing at her like he was assessing her. Diana kept a poker face, making sure to not give him a chance to read her. Without being rude to him, she kept if professional, she didn’t want him to see her as the bad guy. It looked like it was working, or maybe he was already onto her without her knowing it.
“It’s just a tragedy. She was so little, barely even got to live life” William spoke. Diana glanced at him.
“I’ve taken many cases like these. It never gets any easier” Diana looked down a little. It always was a bad day when she got calls of kids going missing or killed. William glanced at her again, silently thinking to himself.
As they walked down the hallway of the pizzeria, the music was still continuing with all kinds of bright and colourful lights filling the stage area.
“Mr. Afton, I’m sorry for taking up your time” Diana broke the silence. William looked at Diana
“Not at all Ms. Winters. If you need anymore information please don’t be afraid to call me, darling~” William gave a smile to her, one that made her uncomfortable.
“Thank you, Mr. Afton”
“Of course, anything to help find the person who did this. And please, call me William”
