Female peregrine falcon portrait.Falco peregrinus - Peregrine falcon.
This photo was taken on the 30/9 - 2013.
I visited the zoo alone this day since it was a school day for my sister and I really wanted to photograph the
animals at the zoo when the zoo wasn't packed with people. I got to the zoo at 10 a:m but I didn't stay for long, since
I was on a bad medication during this time and it made me feel ill, so I had to leave the zoo earlier than I wanted to.
I got to the Peregrine falcons enclosure when I started to feel really ill and they have something in front of their enclosure
which you can sit on and I sat there for a good while. This female peregrine falcon was sitting on a branch right in front of me
and I really wanted to take some photos of her, since I had a lot of photos of the male.
I didn't see her at first, to be honest. I was sitting/standing in a weird direction and she blended right in with the background. She
was actually staring at me while I was taking photos of the male and she sat still for a good time when I started to take photos of her.
