How do you do something like this? With close up macro photography, are you supposed to have a very high shutter speed? Cause even at 125 sometimes the flowers I take (because of wind) becomes a tad blurry.

Fast shutter, what means high ISO (i usually use 1/500sec and ISO400 or 800)... or a tripod. Or a macro ring flash, which is quite expensive.

Yeah, the only thing I would change is more leds/and some kind of plastic cover with ridges that spreads the light more evenly.

Very nice macro! This is the reason we can't normally see a bugs face from up close - it's scary. It's amazing how you managed to photograph the fly in exactly that position. The fuzzy background is a bit distracting though. I realise that with macro photography, a fuzzy background is 'normal', but I think that in this case, because it's as grey as the leaf/whatever it is on the foreground, it's more distracting. No idea what you could do about it though ^^" I also think it would be worth trying to make the eyes a bit brighter red, like you did in some of your other macro's.
