Description
After a long-ish period of not posting stuff, I found a piece of paper and decided to try draw as many of my characters' eyes as possible
It is said that, in animation school, artists must learn to draw different body types and facial features, so that different characters can be distinguished from one another even without their clothes and hair.
So I drew eyes XD I didn't draw Nikola Tesla's sisters, because their eyes are just different shades and colours with eyelashes. I also didn't draw Victor's nephew Klaus, because he has the same eyes.
Note to those who aren't familiar with my work: 'Howard' is HP Lovecraft, Leonardo is Leonardo Da Vinci, Herbert is HG Wells, Elizabeth is Queen Elizabeth Tudor (Elizabeth the First... I call her Lizzy though), Mary is Mary Shelley, Ada is Ada Lovelace, and Victoria is Queen Victoria

I love the variety you have here! It's a true fact in animation. I try to give my characters as much variety as I can, even if I'm just drawing characters and will probably never draw for animation. Estelle has many different hairstyles, but she's still Estelle, because she has her own eye style that no other character has in my story. I love your artwork because it reminds me of my own, of what should have been my style when I was younger. I spent my 7th grade - Junior year doodling manga after all. But that got boring real fast... I'm glad for more variety, now!

Yeah, that's another reason why it's good to have variety - if a character changes hairstyles or clothes, the viewer needs to recognize them!

Coincidentally, I spent my 8th grade studying manga and trying to copy the style to improve my drawing skills XD And then I started being influenced by other artists like Aaron Diaz (writer of Dresden Codak), Abigail Larson, several deviantArtists, and even some Disney artists

Actually on the subject of eyes mine don't really look different. Though Tesla's eyes are wider than Houdini's... and Kahlo's are more relaxed than any other woman I guess o.O
And Howards (I had to use his name, just to annoy him) are just staring into my soul. Stop. Now. Damn. It. Cupboard- I mean Howard.
