I love this woman to absolute bits because she's freaking AMAZING (and the best thing about SnK is that if you think she's a guy, it wouldn't make a difference to the awesomeness that is Hanji) and so AAAAAH DRAWING!!! AAAAH HANJI *hyperventilates*

Okay I should probably talk about the drawing too: basically I've been posting some WIPs on my Tumblr and I literally don't know how a picture of Hanji's butt got notes, but it did. I think that website has a thing about butts. Anyway, this is a copy of the finished product because the original is GOING ON MY WALL BECAUSE HANJI FEELS OKAY. My new scanner is great but also tends to saturate everything a lot, so the sky looks like it's exploding in aqua, but the grass turned out fine. Was super inspired by the backdrops in the 2nd OP Jiyuu no Tsubasa but then two issues: 1) That's Levi's theme, and 2) green flares on green grass = BIG NO So red flares, and Hanji's probably squealing with joy every time some unlucky Survey sod runs into a Titan

The clouds are bugging me because my brush did something stupid, my gauche decided to dry up in like 5 seconds so for a long time I was spreading white glop over the sky and mashing it into cloud shapes with a wrecked brush. Yeah, the reality is never pretty. (Call it a homage to the real spirit of SnK ) Also, I have a love-hate relationship with 3DMG, but luckily perspective and I have worked out our differences so I didn't completely screw this up On the bright side, I have discovered that I am in love with Survey green. Seriously, this was the pinnacle of the whole drawing. I am so going to dig Levi and everyone else in this colour when I draw them next But seriously it takes like 6 different greens!
