I've been asked about the Eriu Tarot Card recently. This will not be it.I've worked on this last year. First of all, symbolism. I've focused too much on the details instead of the general feel of the card, Eriu herself has a lot of symbolism, does not need to hold things that glow with weird blue, instead she could be somewhere, doing something, and I didn't enjoy the cell shading in this. But only after I've done three of those I've been able to tell that it won't be a style that suits me. I wept, but now I have stuff to share with you guys.
This might appear as an easter egg in the final deck, might not. We will see.

ooooh Great colors! I especially like the feeling you pull through with the accessories. It has the feeling of one of those tarot or playing cards as the rod and skull are held stiffly, as if they have a symbolic meaning ('cause they do) unlike much art you see currently where the accompanying devices are more part of the character or story. The rod and skull MEAN something and the way the character interacts with them adds to her meaning. Great stuff.

Beautiful work! I totally understand the frustration with wanting to draw something, but it just won't work out the way you wanted it to. But this card looks really nice!

Gonna assume the Tarot card was the magician. The symbolism is really interesting. It adds a lot to the atmosphere and even establishes little easter eggs, which are very endearing. The colors are incredibly warm! The one word that keeps coming to mind when I look at this is, "hot" and I don't mean sexy. From the orange omnipresent hue to the red velvet dress these colors are supremely well chosen. The facial anatomy is extraordinary. You can really feel the curves and edges of her cheeks. This is a phenomenal piece! Thank you for making it.
