My Grandma had a pet bobcat when she was a little girl in the thirties. Now I wish I had asked her how she acquired it.

Normally, no. But in this case, he was raised by someone who regularly deals with wild and endangered cats, and he's kept at the sanctuary with the other cats, just indoors instead of out in the habitats.
