Give your photos that gritty look they deserve. For Photoshop CS6 and newer.Instructions:
Open the PSD and double-click on the icon of the lowest smart object/layer called "Your Artwork in here"
Drag your artwork into the temporary work file and scale to fit. Don't worry about the resolution. It'll be drowned in grain.
Save the temporary file
