Description one of the Devs I created in last April , used 3ds max for the deviation . Please full view for details .

The name "Bishad Prohor" is in Bangla , theres no exact word in english for it , so I had to use bangla name .

In bangla , " Bishad prohor " means a part of the day when you feel kinda sad , a feeling like something is missing somewhere , there are some hidden sorrows in your mind that you dont know quite well yourself ..... it gives you a sad feeling . I tried to create a slight effect of emptyness in the dev . I imagined myself standing infront of those windows and looking at the nature outside . when I did , I felt a bit sad , like a slight feeling of loosing something , a feeling that makes me feel incomplete . thats why I came up with this name . it expresses my feeling at that moment

But yeah my overall purpose was to create a nice wallpaper . also this is my first dev where I tried creating bushes .

any sort of comments, critiques and favs are welcome .

The architectural designs look impressive!
But the lighting is not much realistic to me.
If you think about real world light, the intensity of sunlights that entering in the room should be soft & a bit blurry. But it looks very hard. It's ok if your glasses are totally transparent.

The area light, reflection on the floor look perfect to me.

I'm not sure whether you used advanced render or not, if so then you should increase the sampling rate or accuracy to reduce the darkish effect on the top wall. I don't know about 3d max but I'm saying according to c4d GI render settings.
Overall it's a nice work, now it's time to add some furnitures to make the place better for relaxing.

Cant add more furntures it takes forever to render . Thanks for your honest comment , yeah my glasses are transparent but the lights are not totally realistic I am thinking on how to make em blurry ... do you think volume lights would do ? I used V-ray for the render

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

innovation4d In reply to Ray3000 [2008-07-13 16:13:05 +0000 UTC]

Yeh!Render time kills me too!
You can reduce the intensity of the sunlight and change the refraction of material of the glass, it will help to illuminate low light.
Definitely volumetric light can be a good choice.
Just keep playing with it!

Another impressive creation. The windows look majestic and wonderfully lined up. The outside (nature) looks lovely with the blur, perhaps a little bit sharper, but definitely not 'sharper'. The blur fits in well.

The title blends quite well with the devation. Most sorry to hear your feeling at the moment. I hope it dies away as soon as possible.

G8KproftheWds [2008-07-09 15:35:20 +0000 UTC]

Overall this is fantastic. If you went for more of a sunset glow that filled the room, with a hint of blue or a darker colour in the light, it would give you the emptyness that you wanted others to feel. I don't feel it though. All I feel is really happy when i see this cause of the lighting, and it looks very warm and inviting.

I love the reflection on the floor, and the reflections in the windows! It all looks so real yet stylized and beautiful at the same time! I like the shadows, too. This is a great piece, I agree that the only flaw (if it even counts as a flaw) would be the bushes. But other than that this is amazing. I'm faving it.
