Besides, I'm already nice and full--some Diamond Dogs tried to pilfer my hoard this morning; luckily their little 'raiding party' had enough members for a full meal. They were even as delicious as they were stupid! Though, I'm afraid the louts will go right to my hips..." [Cranes her head around, looking at her behind self-consciously]

"And? We dragons take the safety of our hoards VERY seriously! And I only ate the ones who dared to intrude on my lair; it's not like I tracked down their village and took a pack of innocent Dogs as slaves, or some other horrid thing."

"Darling, I am fully aware of the difference between people and things. We dragons are greedy, not sociopaths."

Dragon!Rarity: "Oh! Well, who am I to deny a brave little morsel a...'big scoop', is that how it goes? And a little shared knowledge is always a good thing. Just hold still a moment, darling..." [Humming, she gently pinches Pony!Spike up in her clawed fingers, idly dropping him onto her scaly belly as she reclines against the cave wall with a smirk] "Ask away, dear."

Dragon!Rarity: "Dear Tiamat, no!! That's just....disgusting! I...I've never heard of something so horrid. It's even worse than 'only' enslaving my captives...." [Sighs; composes herself] "No...I cannot do such a thing myself, nor would I if I could. I don't know of any other dragons who've done that, either; even those who DON'T have the same scruples about taking slaves as I do. At the VERY LEAST, they would find such a practice 'an impractical mess'."

Well, I certainly do have family; though thankfully I never had to make a meal of any of them--some dragons DO do that as a rite of passage, but it's NOT universal or anything. Anyway; Mother and Father do visit sometimes, but they tend to wander from lair to lair a lot; I believe ponies call it 'vacationing'? But besides my parents, I DO have a sibling..." [Smiles fondly] "Little Sweetie Belle. She's such a dear, very sweet and cheerful--when she's not out causing havoc with her friends, that is. Don't worry, she's...mostly safe for 'tinies', as she calls them. I even found her playing with some griffon children once!"
