I also woke up early and stayed up late to finish it. XP I was working on this and my other costume till the minute I left for the con. TAKE YOUR TIME, but don't get lazy and cut corners either. And tutorials on here and YT will save your life, and much needed time.

For the sock paws, socks are great, but if you want durability and more structure you can substitute them for sneakers. (Same applies for slippers) Sneakers feel more natural, for me anyway cause they're all I wear, and are more sutable for walking. You do A LOT of walking at cons.

With much difficulty. O_O I had only three days to do it... I almost kilt myself.... *faints* But I got it done in time, and got to parade around with other furries at CTCon! ^^ It was a blast!

I'm not doing commissions for anything like this... But I just might in the future. I really want to make and sell things like at Artist's Ally at cons. But fursuits are those special projects that I love to pieces. I am however still in high school, and can't afford to start anything of a business atm, but I want to. ^^
As far as price goes, It costs about 15-20 dollars for the fur I had... Ish, but I got three yards and used a coupon. The project itself wasn't too too hard, so I'd guesstimate... Around 100-200... For a full partial, maybe 400, absolute tops. I think people asking 1,000-5,000 is a bit much. (US $$$'s, btw.)
