This is so awesome. I love the way you coloured it, with a sketchy kind of colouring. Honestly, I prefer the original compared to this, I like the original style better. I get that this is your style and I'm not insulting you. But that is not to say that I hate this drawing, or your style, this is still awesome and I admire the way you've drawn it in your own style, and it still is an awesome drawing.

Thank you. Always nice if someone takes time to write a bit more. I'm not a fan of the normal anime shading style so i always try to make it look slightly different. I'm sure its not perfect and there are still many things to do better but the only way to get better is to try it again & again right?

Personally, I don't mind the normal anime shading, but I do like the characters to have shading on them when I watch the anime, because they just look so flat and lifeless without them. If I had to choose, I prefer more detailed shadows. What's wrong with the normal anime shading style? Your shading has a sketchy feel to it, and it gradually fades into the colour. Absolutely right, just try again and again, the only way to improveΒ Β

Ofcourse the anime shading style looks good. Since they need to draw hundreds of pictures for the animation they also cant put to much detail into each frame. What i meant was that since i only draw one picture, i want to let it look kinda different because the shading in animes looks to "normal" for me to draw it. Thats why i dont want to copy it and try it my own way.

Oh okay, I get what you meant. I like the way you want to try it your own way, and your not afraid to try a shading that's so much different compared to the anime. How did you do this shading? It looks like you did the initial shading with a pen or pencil, left space for light colours, then used yellow or white or whichever colour.
