More Double Take funtimes![link]
Once again is hosting a new Double Take art-jam, and I got paired up with the super supreme . Her gallery is FULL of amazing art that was right up my street, but when I saw this picture:
I was hooked
I hope I did the original justice!Had lots of fun playing with textures, gradients and colouring for this picture. While the backgrounds aren't the main focus and you don't have to copy them perfectly I did try to at least capture the spirit of the original, and had a play around with layers at the same time

I was VERY curious to see which picture you would choose, and LITTLE KNOWN FACT, when I was first starting on DA, I was a huge fan of your stuff *still am!* so I was REALLY excited to get you in the Double Take! I have to say that I absolutely LOVE love LOVE how you did the lace, especially on her head piece, apron and gloves. How you made this look SO bubbly is fantastic, I really dig the shoes, the ruffles on her sleeves and how you even did her nails <3!! Thank you so much for this! I think you did an EXCELLENT job on it! Also, when I was originally drawing it, I had a wicked hard time with the pose as well D: So, I feel your pain! I think this is very successful, and I can't thank you enough! This came out so well

Oh you and your grasp of poses, I just could not get it so i had to fake it, but so long as you like it then it's all kosher!
I really enjoyed going through your gallery to pick a good picture to work with, there were so many contenders and in the end I had to go with the image I thought I could do the most justice to.
