Ok this picture is a little late in the game considering the 'fainting couch' gag was used a couple of episodes back, but I wasn't in the mood to get the picture finished considering that my arm was kinda busted. But it's better now ARTS A COMMIN'

Oh Rarity, you're most certainly my favourite pony After the episode 'Lesson Zero' I kept seeing people referring to the seat that Rarity magically produces out of thin air to collapse onto as a 'sofa' or a 'couch'. And while I'm aware that it could be defined as a 'fainting couch', my Baroness/French ancestry kicked in and I had to correct people.

Because I'm a HUGE snob.

That type of seat is TRADITIONALLY known as a Chaise Longue (or Chaise Lounge), defined as a sofa large enough to rest the legs on. I figure that Rarity being the glamourpuss that she is would refer to it by it's original french name and nothing less. You can just hear her say it

......ok maybe this was just a silly excuse to draw Rarity, but hey maybe some people learnt something today

Chaise Longue (pronounced Shays Lon) = sofa long enough to rest legs on :3 Use it at your next formal event! Impress your friends ^-^
