Well, not really. It's Shogga. Shoggoths have green biolights all over their bodies, at least, according to Lovecraft. They also have eyes and mouths everywhere. Shoggoth lords are shoggoths that can squeeze themselves into a human form. Shogga hasn't got most of it quite right, so she has a big "sweater."

"Eat with your mouth, not with your hands."
"But is not hands! Is moufs! See? Has teefs."

Shoggoths were originally created as slave labor for the elder things, the aliens who came to Earth in the distant mists of time and created life as a biological experiment (and perhaps as a farm). The shoggoths were their genetically engineered slave labor, at least until they broke free and devoured much of their masters, destroying their civilization overnight. Shoggoths lurk in Antarctica and the ocean depths, devouring all they come across like giant amoebas.

Why don't they devour the world? I though long and hard about this. I figure the elder things made them violently, perhaps deathly, allergic to the life they were creating; this would be a good defense measure. So many billions of years later, however, those chemicals are no longer deathly allergic, though they still cause a reaction. So a shoggoth might wash ashore, start eating until it munches something nasty, and then retreat into the sea. The news reports a red tide or a tsunami or something, whatever the Deltas tell them to report.

In Shogga's case, she has a reaction to peas.
