Description
An Anna's Hummingbird weathering a rare winter snowstorm in Seattle. Knowing that a lot of food sources for these guys would become frozen, I filled my feeder with fresh nectar. Within minutes I had at least 3 or 4 hummingbirds battling for the feeder - Seattle, Washington-----------------------------------------

Great shot! One tactic I've seen people use is to wrap the hummingbird feeder in christmas lights to keep it from freezing. Not sure if it'll be enough in this current storm, but worth a shot.

Great shot, and good on you for looking out for them in the adverse weather. Isn't the Seattle area due for (or already getting hit by) a snowstorm this week? All I know is, the same storm system you guys are facing is supposed to dump a bunch of rain on us (Northern CA) tomorrow. This reminds me, I should check my hummingbird feeders to make sure they're full!
