Description
Grand Admiral Thrawn's orders were clear, syndicates, cartels and large pirate organisations represent a threat to the rising Empire. The New Republics ineptitude at ousting these groups has lead to a rise in organised crime the galaxy over. Operation “Fire and Fury” was the first major action the 669th Nightmare interceptor squadron saw against the remnants of the Zann Consortium. The opening engagement was swift and decisive, Thrawn having manoeuvred the bandit fleet into a corner where their smaller, more agile ships were forced into pitched battles against his mighty star destroyers. Nightmare carved it’s way through the Consortium's fighters like apex aerial predators through a prey flock. In under an hour of vicious fighting, the criminal element was dispatched to the last escape pod.
