There's the little special effects fairy again...

This particular comic bothered some fans-- i think mainly cuz of how Katie kinda believed what he said-- I mean-- it is a kind of out of the blue thing and for a world where shit like that just doesnt happen, how could she just so quickly accept it-- I think having Brian say "didnt say anything about you becoming a girl" would have been a little better cuz it could have also implied perhaps Ryan coming out about crossdressing or something-- just opens the doors up a little more.

Katie is very eager about seeing Rachel because Ryan has also been Mr Tough Guy Super Macho semi-Sexist. So of course anything that brings Ryan down a peg is all good. In the unwritten Chapter 8 dealing with why Ryan and Eimi hated Halloween, the Ryan flashbacks deals with Ryan getting bullied and beaten up on halloween when he was like, 8, and Katie coming out of no where and hurting one of the bullies and managing to chase them off-- cuz 8 year old girls are super tough... This event is actually kinda what started Ryan becoming somewhat sexist cuz from that point forward he constantly felt the need to show that he was strong enough to stand up for himself...

Now you know... AND KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE!
