Description
Dual Sableye plays up the gem aspects of its design while also more directly referencing the Hopkinsville goblin encounter that it's based on, including "wings" that reference the most conventional explanation being a great horned owl. It can also be seen as a special counterpart of sorts to the hyper-physical Mega Mawile. Dual Camerupt predominantly draws inspiration from volcanic hot springs and also serves as a foil to its usual harsh temper. Dual Lucario is largely based on media archetypes of blind oracles as well as slightly more of a connection its its inspiration in Anubis, with Psychic serving to better play up its aura theme. Finally Dual Carnivine plays up plants that mimic insects as well as insects that mimic plants, while in effect also becoming its own prey.

Exposure to Rock type energy from a Dual Attack causes the gemstones it consumes to react and expand to cover much of its body, even giving it limited flight and a grin made of diamonds. The Sableye itself always seems delighted by this transformation but may try to eat its own gems.
