Description The starter I personally would choose.

7. Dolfiord (コクジラ, Kokujira)
Dolphin Pokemon
Water type
HT: 1'10"
WT: 28.6 lbs.
Ability: Torrent
Hidden Ability: Subzero (30% chance of opponent freezing if it hits the Pokemon with Subzero with a direct attack)
Egg Groups: Field, Water 1
Given as a Starter in the Samado Region
Evolves into Sannaqua at Lv 16
Very curious, it is thought to be the Pokemon with the biggest imagination. They travel in groups through frozen seas, feeling new objects with the orb on their head.
Stat spread: 65/55/50/20/60/55

8. Sannaqua (サムクジラ, Samukujira)
Pod Pokemon
Water/Ice type
HT: 3'11"
WT: 120.2 lbs.
Ability: Torrent
Hidden Ability: Subzero (30% chance of opponent freezing if it hits the Pokemon with Subzero with a direct attack)
Egg Groups: Field, Water 1
Evolves from Dolfiord at Lv 16
Evolves into Kaneqwal at Lv 32
They travel long distances across frigid seas in pods of up to 50 Pokemon. The cold waters they live in chill their Ice-type attacks to unimaginably frigid temperatures.
Stat spread: 80/90/65/40/70/65

9. Kaneqwal (ホッキョクジラ, Hokkyokujira)
Ice Horn Pokemon
Water/Ice type
HT: 8'1"
WT: 679.4 lbs.
Ability: Torrent
Hidden Ability: Subzero (30% chance of opponent freezing if it hits the Pokemon with Subzero with a direct attack)
Egg Groups: Field, Water 1
Evolves from Sannaqua at Lv 32
They use their long horns made of solid ice to fight for mates and break through obstacles. Though territorial, they are usually docile around humans, and even let them ride them.
Stat spread: 100/115/85/70/90/85

Mega Kaneqwal
Water/Ice type
HT: 12'6"
WT: 879.0 lbs.
Ability: Refrigerate
Stat spread: 100/145/95/100/100/105

Ironically for a pokemon with the species "Ice Horn", Kaneqwal doesn't have much Atk. Which kind of goes against the kind of moves it would likely have access to, lol. Other than that, it's fine, though the defense stats might be a bit too high for a mon that doesn't have any armor.

Same problem as Girathorn and Giracacia (#001-#002) for the pre-evolutions.

As for the Mega? Not bad, although a speed increase of 5 seems a bit too little. Usually if a stat is boosted, it's by at least 10 points. Otherwise, nice job.

Ah, okay, that's solvable!

Nice spread, though you probably didn't need to nerf the SpA that much. It's mostly personal preferences, though.

Yeah, it occurred to me that it really didn't make sense for it to be as high as it was, so I decided it probably ought to be physical rather than special.
