He's about 2 years old now from that and living in a home with 2 kids and their mom. He's been renamed fitly Lucky because of his story.

Milo is now healthy and in a wonderful home. He had a rough start in life but is now in an amazing home with people who love him. He's got his scars but his heart is still very willing to love.

... I adopted my now 1 year old pit, Magik when she was only 3 months old, and she one of the best things tha'ts ever happened to me. She is SO gentle with my kids, and is SUCH a camera hog its unbelievable! She's a part of my family, and I couldn't see life being the same without her. I mean, my kids pull her ears, my daughter will just randomly go up to her and hug her around the neck (not chocking her, but holding), they pull her tail, dress her up while they play dress up, lay on the floor with her, watch T.V with her, hell, they even use her as a pillow from time to time! And not ONCE has she EVER snapped at them! Not even after accidentally stepping on her tail! Hell, when we go to the river, and the kids start getting too close to the deep end (There deep end, not Magiks) she will give a few warning barks, and if they don't come back toward the shallows, she'll jump right into the water, and continue to swim around them in circles, pushing them until there back to about waist deep. From MY understanding of the American Canine Temperament Testing Association, you're far more likely to be bitten by a Chihuahua than a pit! I mean seriously people! Punish the Deed! NOT the Breed!
