I love the work done on this, it's amazing. However (isn't there always one?) I think you need to put a bit more emphasis on the shoulders and upper body, perhaps also make the greaves a little less severely shaped, simply because, (I may be absolutely wrong, but hey) it looks a lot like a Sister Of Battle in proportions at the moment. I can see the differences where it doesen't and how it's not, especially the very manly face, but that is what I see. VERY good work overall.

actually you are right on the money - I wanted the armor to be similar to the sisters of battle - this character is an inquisitor of the empire and would be working within the Imperial Inquisition which works closely with and is directly above the sisters of battle and the witch hunters. Thanks!

The armor was designed from the sisters of battle armor actually...He is an inquisitor of the empire and as such he works through all the legions and armies of the emperor. I decided to base his armor off the sisters of battle armor because it is sleeker and lighter better for fenese fighting and quickness. Thanks for the complement!

This, like the other is just great. You need to take the time to make a full composition. I know you can do backgrounds. Damn it do it! The back ground can make a doodle become am illustration.

Thanks for the comment! The reason I'm not doing back grounds in these pieces is because they are all going to fit into one background on one single composition. I'm doing the composition in layers so it is easier to manipulate and change if need be. I know I'm doing this kind of backwards...probably should have done the background first ....but when I started I didn't have a real clear idea of how much space each character would need. Thanks for the constructive crit! I appriciate it when people really give me good responces to my work!

no pob I love your work. I love how detailed its becoming, even without a background. And I wouldnt say your doing it backwards, in fact doing it all separate is the way to go. When I compose a composition on PS I always keep all the characters on separate layers so I can change it when ever it needs doing so. I like this advancement in technology allowing us to decide later down the road how Im going to roll with it. Because back in the day (see pen work of mine) I had to really know what I was doing from square one. And that just takes the fun out of experimentation and limits the chance of all that work just going up in smoke. And Im always happy to help out with some constructive crits I only wish I was given more of them. As much as I love the "thats cool" I know my work could be better if some one would just tell me what Im doing wrong or what could use improvement. In conclusion keep up the neurotic detailed work it looks great, I cant wait to see this finished!
