Lesbian budgies! I like the colours on the left (chippy?) and the yellow tail on the other is nice, never seen the whole tail yellow except for the fully yellow budgies

Haha thanks! I always loved Chippy's colours OH and I didn't tell you, Chippy escaped a few days ago in really bad weather and I assumed he was dead, but the next day I was walking to get branches for Nicky in a reserve across from my house and Chippy flew out of a tree. He was being attacked by miners and landed at my feet but I was so amazed he was alive! But yes, he is a very sexy birdy

You seem to be so lucky with your birds, i am very sure both the ones i had that flew away are cat or hawk food...I hope Chippy really appreaciates being at home now

Oh I haven't been this lucky in the past believe me! But yes, this time I was lucky. He sure seems to appreciate his cage more and the fact he gets free food, shelter and no predators

I thought you had a quail escapee in the rain once i had two of them fall from my hands when i was removing them to clean their cages and they just sat on the ground like "oh where am i? IM OUTSIDE ARGGGGGHHH" and let me pick them up Budgies have been a different story for me tho...

I saw a cockateil (obviously someones escaped pet) living amoungst galahs at the beach once. They didnt seem to mind it at all.

Haha yes Swish's little escapade! They are funny though I know just what you mean, they freeze with terror at a new environment so you can usually just pick them up How is your budgie going? And your million quails?
Oh I bet the cockateil blended into the pink galahs very well!

My budgie is going ok, she has lessened her obsession to escape (i gave her a new mirror and she sits at that all day) and my quails are doing awesome, gave them seived dirt (it was so fine) that i left in the sun to warm and they loved it, was like a sandstorm out there with all quails at once in the dirt

bright canary yellow cockateil amoungst pink and grey, couldnt even tell he was there

Yes nothing beats that attractive bird in the mirror... Nicky rubs his face all over any mirror he sees, it's concerning to say the least.
I think it's one of those amazingly relaxing moments to sit and watch quail and chooks have dust baths, they are just so at peace

A budgie i used to have actually had his bum against the mirror holding onto the frame with his feet and would hump/rub his mirror for long periods of time...he prefered the handsome budgie in the mirror over the ladies also, very concerning...

Its absolutely adorable, especially when its a big amount of them all crammed together having a dustbath orgi
