This is a UBER LATE drawing for contest...I know, it's not in anymore but i still want to put it up anyways ^^. I did this at work mostly that month and finished it on the final day but had no frakin' scanner >_O...blarg...

The flames are so real you'd swear that your shelf is on fire, and that 5N-1P3's claws would cut your finger even if you barely touched it...

Though I think I might have messed up on the chest, I didn't expose the top bit...kinda covered it all in her muscle membrane-looking stuff (don't kill me for getting that horribly wrong

Very nice concept ^^ The pose and the sword and claw are very cool! Snipe stepping on Yato's hand was a nice touch! I love how he's all bloodied XD

Lol I know, it was a pain when i realized that my scanner was broke >_O but oh well...
THis was my first contest official entree, but I enjoyed doing it very much and put alot of effort and care in it. I went for a mid-battle pic, shows a bit of action but isn't all that dramatic. None-the-less I also liked making them all beaten up XD

Thanks, I was pondering with that damn sword effect...took me a lil while to decide what to do with it...but eventually came out with that ^^ really happy with how it came out for sure!

How do you keep your art (and lines) so clean and crisp? You must tell me your secret!

Too tell ya the truth it's a really long process and for that it's why i spend so much time on them. What i do, is draw the basic lines and structure down, then once im satisfied with how it looks i ink it. Then comes the eraser, i erase all the pencil lines making sure that all that is left is the inked lines...
Coloring then begins, I start with the first layer by putting down light colors and putting the darker ones ontop, basic layering XD
after that is done I use my poster paint markers to make slight highlights for depth...then comes the final step...bolding the lines...
Go over the entire picture once again on every line, and the ones away from the light or toward the camera/over top of the character i bold. Other then that it's that simple really
