The best comparison I can use for Pearstripe and Crabappletail is that they’re an old, wealthy, affable couple with a lot of status and a lot of kids. They’ve had many litters, all of whom have also become well-respected warriors. Applepaw was one of the last litters and only had one sibling, and was also a cat naturally inclined to feel pressure and try to live up to high personal standards. She got on decently with her parents, but it’s more of a genial and distant family that a tight-knit one.
