This one I'm having a much better time accepting versus the mermaid because the smoky fumes feel more integrated and naturally placed. It doesn't distract or come off too static to the mind.
Nice palette with the greens and I like the pink on the cheek. It brought out a nice contrast..it's all flowing pretty nice.
Also, I like the way it works with the background.
Even if you didn't draw it (?) but it works well and I love how you work shit out when you do monotoned themed work. You have a good eye for making it work very well. Congratulations you chupachup.
