what if i made story of the blanks canon in this nextgen... ha ha just kidding. unless...?

i have a huge soft spot for creepypasta stuff tbh, i think there's a lot of charm to them. that being said, i don't care for most mlp creepypasta because a lot of it just seems to hinge on "yo.... what if the colorful horses... ripped out each other's ORGANS???" as a premise. and like, if you like that stuff that's fine, and i'm not gonna refuse em i guess, but i like a little more substance than that. i think creepypastas that attempt psychological horror are more along my speed generally.

while story of the blanks isn't quite that, i still REALLY really enjoyed it. i think it's partly because i really love apple bloom as a character and always like more content with her, but idk i think the premise really works. I won't state the plot here in case you haven't seen it because I recommend either watching a lets play or playing the game yourself if you can (it's very short, the lets play is only like 12 minutes)

i like it because it feels like (besides the climax) it feels very authentic to the show. and even the climax can be explained by the fact that it's in the everfree forest.

anyways. so in this au i am giving the cmc different cutie marks, but apple bloom still becomes a mentor to young foals trying to get their cutie marks (i've drawn her, i'll say more on her profile when I upload it). she helps her niece get her cutie mark in crafting gems. the resulting cutie mark and the jewel she makes is... familiar.

(also i made that rarijack baby on a whim. idk how to feel about the colors yet lol, not sure on a name yet either. we'll see though!)
