Goats are sometimes kept with racehorses as a companion animal. This is thought to have a calming effect on the horse. The term "Get your goat" (meaning to agitate someone) is rumored to have originated from the practice of stealing the companion goat so the racehorse would do poorly.

it’s the general disrespect the community seems to have for model makers. nobody checks readmes and there are several models which specifically say in their readmes not to convert the model to other file formats; most of the VRChat community ignores these wishes and converts models regardless of the creator’s request
it can be a huge problem for modelers who want to make sure they know how their work is being distributed
on a lesser note, some ppl who use VRChat will outright complain to modelers when they can’t use their stuff in VRChat, or in my experience, will just comment “gonna put this in VRChat” without even asking (which has earned a couple ppl an earful from me)

VRChat users just tend to be extremely disrespectful to modelers in my experience. nobody really considers the fact that another human person made the models they’re using, and the MMD community as it is just has a really difficult time with rampant theft in our own community so the extent of now adding yet another outside source of theft (along with the Sims communities and game modding communities) it’s just a really sore subject for a lot of people
