Echostep is Sagesplash's slightly elder brother, just a few minutes her senior. She is very protective over him because though he is the oldest, he's the most sensitive and understanding of them, the most prone to anxiety, the most prone to getting hurt by things which his siblings are more hardened to. He remains open when they do not, and for this reason Sagesplash loves him deeply, though she also fears for him. Because of this she tries desperately to keep an eye on him and step in when he needs defending but won't do it himself. She's of the opinion that he's too gentle and too willing to take shit from those around him, but she'll deal with it for him so that he doesn't get himself run over by life too terribly hard.

Both of her parents were limited in their roles as family members to Sagesplash and her brothers, and as far as she is concerned, they abandoned her, Echostep, and Swiftstorm when they were just three moons old. The time before that point, she views as just as bad if not worse because of the turmoil through which the kits were forced to go through between Icewing and Ambergaze's tenuous relationship. Ambergaze recently grew fatally ill after a small and seemingly non important injury of hers festered and caused a system wide infection for which no medicine cat could have healed her from. Sagesplash sat vigil for her out of obligation, but even after her death she finds very very little capacity in her heart for forgiveness.

Dawnpaw belongs to pekaluii

Watching you blossom into a prospective warrior with abilities that will eventually exceed my own has been a pleasure I never anticipated, and I am grateful for being able to share in that with you. Dawnpaw is Sagesplash's apprentice, the daughter of Ridgefrost, the former deputy, and his mate Dawnheart. The same day in which Sagesplash was promoted to the position of deputy, she was entrusted with the training of the former deputy's now orphaned daughter, a responsibility for which Sagesplash doubted she was prepared for. During their time together, the young and inexperienced deputy has learned more than she ever anticipated about what it takes to be a mentor and a deputy, and much of that is thanks to Dawnpaw and her trials and tribulations as an apprentice. Sagesplash has come to adore the young, and permanently small cat, and would do nearly anything to protect her and help her to thrive in a way she was never given the opportunity to do herself.

Tawnycloud belongs to Drivinghawk-Requiem
"You... I do not understand you, nor do I understand the way you make me think and feel. You are a rouge, shouldn't that be enough to make me hate you? You're not just a rogue, you're a former ShadowClanner! And you betrayed your last clan, why won't you do the same to us? The only reason I did not fight Hawkstar when he allowed you and your scum of a mate to stay is for the sake of your kittens... I certainly hope you do not disappoint them and prove me wrong in my assessments of your benefit to them. I don't change my opinions often, don't make me do it now."

She wants to hate Tawnycloud, but for some reason cannot bring herself to... instead, she finds herself intrigued and annoyed by her.

"You, Hawkstar, are a conundrum which I cannot even begin to try to puzzle out. You know right from wrong, good from evil, love from hate, and yet you walk a middle line sometimes and not others. Hawkstar is the leader of RiverClan, and now Sagesplash's coworker and mentor. She has, since she was young and he rose to power, found him fascinating, someone to respect and look up to because he was the leader! He became in her mind something of an untouchable force to be reckoned with, and then the unthinkable happened. She became the deputy, his second in command, a cat for whom Hawkstar was intended to teach and train to replace him at some point. Still partially petrified of him, Sagesplash is also confused by the leader, who seems to go against everything she has ever been taught about life and its realities. She still looks up to him, but now speaks her mind and questions him when given the opportunity.

Grouseclaw belongs to xDelionx
"Grouseclaw, doll, you're about as frustrating as my brother, but at least you're easier to understand than your brother. You're a prick, and a thorn in my side, but I do like you for the fact that you do not lie. Speak your mind, make your points, be transparent about what you need and feel. You and I shall have no issues on that front, I much prefer a cat I can read and take at face value than one who lies and connives their way into a position of power. But... sometimes it may do you well to curb your tongue a bit. Think a tad before you speak, remember who it is you'll be pissing off with each word. I may not be shaken by your presence, but many are."
Grouseclaw is Hawkstar's brother, and the resident asshole of RiverClan. Sagesplash's first interactions with him were ones of mutual ire, and for that she respects him. They share many of the same viewpoints on certain things, things like rogues and Hawkstar perhaps being too open in his policies, but they also conflict on a great many things as well, things like half-clan kits and outsider kits raised as RiverClan being rouge or clan. Sagesplash finds Grouseclaw's lack of filter rather refreshing, though he can be annoying, and she keeps her temperament in check for the sake of not letting him get a rise out of her. She doesn't mind his presence, and that's currently the extent of their relationship. She'd be happy to smack him herself, but not willing to let others go after him with reckless abandon.

Brookshore belongs to Shatterhowl
"Brookshore you're the sister to my apprentice, and a cat I would be glad to call my friend though I do not know yet if you would call me the same. You're harder to read than myself, a feat I wouldn't say occurs often, and for that I both respect and pity you. But despite that, I do not think you deserve to be treated as though you are delicate. Your sister has taught me that not all small packages come with fragility and gentleness, and if the same theory holds true for you, and I think it does, you are a force to be reckoned with. You should come out of your shell a bit, let your beauty shine. You hide your eye for fear that it makes you ugly... truth be told, I think it makes you that much more eye catching. Beat down the competition, don't let the bastards get you down."
Brookshore is a daughter of Ridgefrost and Dawnheart born in their second litter, younger than Sagesplash but older than her apprentice, Brookshore's younger sister. At first, their relationship was tense and Sagesplash was stepping on eggshells with the knowledge that Brookshore's father was the cat she had replaced, a fact that Dawnpaw held against her for a long time during their training together, but quickly both cats came to realize they were not so very different, and Sagesplash's interest in Brookshore grew. Though she does not feel any romantic feelings, she does think that Brookshore is a very eye-catching and beautiful cat, and she feels a sort of affection for her that she does not often feel. Something of a friendship, wanting to make sure that Brookshore is happy and successful. She wants to get to know her better, and is fascinated by the discussions they share.

Stolen away at a very young age by her father, Sagesplash's word was twisted upside down again after she and her siblings had been abandoned by their parents- now she had lost the closest thing to a family outside of her own two brothers that she had. Her ability to trust anyone outside her brothers shut down like a bear trap, and she closed off completely for nearly a moon. To this day, she remembers everything about her time with Ivorykit, and though she does not think about it as often as she once did, through apprenticehood and before, she sometimes finds herself lying out flowers colored a similar rich red to her friend's markings on a small rock pyre she built as a new apprentice to honor her. As far as she knows, Banshee died when Ivorykit vanished. She has not an inkling that her friend is alive and thriving, falling in love and maturing as a rogue. When she does find out, it will shock her to her very core and pose a question she never thought she would have to ask- is believing one's closest friend to be dead better than finding out they are living apart from everything you believe in and stand for?
