To give you a complete picture: I've become a fan without actually playing the game, and since Liberation doesn't seem so widely popular, I havenβ—‹t even been able to watch all of it on youtube. - But, still shipping And you've done wonderful work with them!

wouldn't you ever take a kissing picture?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RBF-productions-NL In reply to MR-Artz [2013-06-11 09:31:01 +0000 UTC]

That would be pushing it I guess... And with all the bizarre pairings that are floating around here in crap-art works... I'll leave the pairing to others

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MR-Artz In reply to RBF-productions-NL [2013-06-11 11:00:55 +0000 UTC]

mmh... to be honest, i wouldn't really consider it as "pushing", just because when you have kinda feeling around a pairing in Assassin's Creed (which is not real), then it turns out to be the reality!
for example, Sofia and Ezio... or Haytham and Ziio.... so I bet it would be the same for Aveline and Connor!

Then, you two are perfect!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RBF-productions-NL In reply to MR-Artz [2013-06-11 11:05:02 +0000 UTC]

Thank you
And well... for your information, I do kiss my wife I didn;t know how a kiss would factor into the stories of these 2 characters. Didn;t feel right somehow.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MR-Artz In reply to RBF-productions-NL [2013-06-11 11:08:58 +0000 UTC]

ahahahahh you're so funny!
yeah, you need absolutely to kiss your wife, or what would it be like?!! XΒ°D

and then, it also would prove that, not only you are the two best Connor and Aveline cosplayers around, but also that oddly, you're even married in the reality, and so it would mean that actually, you two are for real them!

ahah, keep it in count!

outstanding

the flag is in your face in every american media kinda stuck up only thing i hate about the 3rd game is it paints america as the tail and the world as the donkey like its the cradle of all mankind kinda overly stuck up or maybe it was just the trailers

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RBF-productions-NL In reply to 2195Razielim [2013-04-23 14:12:25 +0000 UTC]

Just the trailers in all honesty.
I think they portrayed both sides of the conflict relativly well. Connor is not to happy about what the colonists always want and Shaun tends to put everything in perspective. The colonists refusal to pay taxes is both viewed as a step towards freedom, but also not entirly fair on their part as the British crown helped drive out the French and helped with the Indian "problem" within the colonies, all payed by the British crown. During the 7 years war the crown expected more from the colonies, but they refused every nickle.

The game even shows Washington as a grey character rather then a full, true hero. Connor questions why men like him speak of freedom, and yet keep slaves themselves, not to mention his lack of skill as a millitairy strategist.

In the merchandise and commercials etc the flag is a bit to erhm... dominant I suppose. But ah well... It shows the era just by looking at the flag.

Hello,
First of all I have to say I'm a big fan of your Connor costume... it look's unbelievably real!
I am currently trying to make one of my own on my spare time however if you could provide advice on the following points I would be grateful!

- What material did you use for the costume? wool? it looks like a resilient and solid material!

- How did you go about to making it look so worn out

- Any advice on how to go about to making the quiver?

Thank you for your time and keep up the good work!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RBF-productions-NL In reply to TheNinthDude [2013-02-07 19:18:03 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!

Look for furniture textiles, they tend to be rougher in form and texture.

Weathering is done with paint, just rub it on where you want to accentuate seams and spots.

I did the quiver with a pvc pipe, wrapped in leather. The details were stitched and glued on before wrapping the stuff around the pvc pipe.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TheNinthDude In reply to RBF-productions-NL [2013-02-07 19:41:06 +0000 UTC]

So basically, I shoot spray paint on a rag and rub it on the textile?
Thanks allot for the answer man clears many things up!
