With a combination of chubbiness, big feet, and a cheerful face complete with yellow cheeks, Raichu is one of my top 20 Pokemon.
If there are two things I'd like to criticize, I personally don't think claws look good on Raichu, even tiny ones. Also its arms look very out of proportion. Other than that, this is an amazing drawing, definitely faving.

It's just that this picture got so many favorites in its first day, more than I ever thought it would. Although the stream of favorites slowed substantially after that first day, I predicted that it would be at 200 within a week's time. But then, I started thinking I wouldn't make it-- I needed that #200 by Saturday to reach that goal, and I was stuck around 198-199 or so. Then you came along and gave Raichu its 200th on Friday night. Goal reached! ^__^ Lol. So I thought I should thank you for that.

Actually, I wasn't a big fan of Raichu until recently, but now the Pokemon is majorly growing on me (esp. w/fan art like this).
As we all know, Pikachu = overrated, and I don't understand why everyone seems to love the other evolutions in the line but dislike Rai, it's not fair to "Supercharged-But-Still-Cute Electric Mouse". ^^
I have an idea for a fanfiction AU version of the anime where (among other things) Ash's Pikachu evolves the first chance he gets, and as a result becomes even more awesome sauce than he was before. I'll put it up on my account when I get to writing it.

The problem with Pokemon now is so many of them (the newer ones) look like robots-- or like they were pieced together with chunks of plastic. They don't look like they could be real animals, not by any stretch of the imagination. :/
