Description
So this piece took about 5 hours to put together. I paid more attention to the steps I took in case anyone wanted to know how I do these. Someone also asked me if I go from light to dark, and yes, I work from the lighter colors first and go to the darker colors. But once the first layer is dry I go over again adding more color, dark to light. Then I add my clouds and last do my silhouette parts. I use masking tape to keep my spaces in between the three parts. You have to work fairly wet to get the salt to work, but not too wet to keep the colors from bleeding all over. The black is typically watercolor, mostly pigment just less water, or I'll use acrylic. If you have any questions please let me know!
