Description For the 26th Theme "Tears" The following is a summary of a story I wrote a long time ago titled "The Tragedy of Wonder", which was a sequel to my other story "The Chronicles of Wonder"

When Felicia (then the crown princess of the Silver Kingdom of Wonder) was locked in the castle dungeon by the evil wizard Motrax, she was just a regular little girl and did what any normal girl would do in such a situation, which was to cry.

Her cries were heard by a demon that her father had sealed within the mystical lance he had used to defeat the demon in combat (He might look familiar although admittedly the demon in the story was not always HIM) The demon taught Felicia to use magic, which she had used both to aid in her escape as well as work with the Sorwin Quintin to undermine Motrax's ritual to open a portal into the Black Void, which would have allowed it to consume the entire land.

In gratitude, Felicia sent a fairy named Dimon to collect the Midnight Gemstones, which would allow Felicia to free the demon from its imprisonment. Before she could claim the stones from Dimon, the warlock Jason Brooks of Triconia attacked the Silver Castle. Information had reached King Signas that Brooks was actually the mortal embodiment of the dark lord of the Black Void, Jazenok Blackskull the Voidbringer.

Once again, with the aid of the demon, Felicia eluded capture and found Quintin, using her magic to disguise herself as a young male warrior to avoid the minions of Blackskull who were searching for her at the time. With her aid, Quintin was able to defeat Jason Brooks and restore the Silver Kingdom.

Unfortunately, Jason Brooks had planned in case his rule was overthrown. He mysteriously returned, cutting a swath of destruction through Wonder and unleashing his "brothers" Salvan Khold the Frozen Deathlord and Isengo Lavoss the Dark Firelord upon the land.

Again, Felicia was aided by the demon, staging her own abduction so that she could travel with the heroes of Wonder in disguise and stop the dark lords. Khold was defeated just as Blackskull and Lavoss had left him behind to prepare the destruction of Wonder, and Blackskull was found and defeated shortly afterwards. Lavoss was discovered to be heading for the Crystal Mountains, where he was preparing to engulf all of Wonder in flames.

It wasn't until Felicia casted the spell that stopped Lavoss that the demon's true nature was revealed to her. The demon had only wanted revenge against Jazenok Blackskull the Voidbringer for a previous encounter wherein he had been utterly defeated by the dark lord. Using Felicia as his "Queen" (as in the strongest piece on a chess board), he had carried out his vengeance by sealing Blackskull's essence within the Black Void. As part of his cruel nature, he had also tricked Felicia in that the spell that defeated Lavoss did not stop his dark ritual, but merely altered it; instead of fire, all of Wonder was drowned in water!

Left at the peak of Crystal Mountain with the knowledge that her actions had led to the devastation of Wonder, as well as the death of her father, Felicia cried for the second time since she was a prisoner of Motrax...

You deserve a medal if you've this far into my old rambling stories! The picture depicts the final scene of "The Tragedy of Wonder" wherein the demon (HIM) has thanked his "Queen" for all her help and left her to cry at the site of her homeland's destruction. Also in the picture are images of:

Signas, the Silver King of Wonder (Felicia's father)

Quintin, the Sorwin hero whom Felicia aided in his quest to save Wonder from Blackskull.

The Demon (In the original story, this was just a nameless lesser demon. Once I became a fan of PPG, I rewrote the story to change The Demon to make it HIM from the Powerpuff Girls by

Jazenok Blackskull the Voidbringer (The antagonist of "The Chronicles of Wonder" who also created the Dark Powerpuff Girls and the true target of The Demon's revenge)

Isengo Lavoss (The "main" antagonist of "The Tragedy of Wonder" for the true primary antagonist was revealed to be The Demon)

All characters (except for HIM) by me!

What's a good story without a villian?
