the problem with some superhero(and villain)costumes is that while they look great on comic pages they could look silly in live-action which is why the Green Goblin's costume was changed for the spider-man movie(with mixed results)same with x-men which also garnered mixed results that said the mysterio costume for spider-man far from home looks pretty faithful to the comic books

my point is more that its nice that their using the comics as a starting point and not just throwing it all out the window. like in the first X-Men movie were they all just wore black leather. for years we were told aquamans orange costume would look stupid in live action, but they made it work.

to be clear i have nothing against trying to be faithful to the comics tweaks are inevitable tweak it too much and you have films like DragonBall evolution and the 2015 Fantastic four
