Another shot of Rick Neilsen, guitarist and main songwriter for Cheap Trick. Rick probably goes through more guitar picks in a single show than most guitarists will use in a lifetime. Rick is known for his huge guitar collection, including his custom made five neck guitar that makes an appearance in every Cheap Trick show. Cheap Trick and Rick have only gotten better as they've gotten older and have been a huge influence on many of today's rock bands.Related content

Awesome! i'm a huge Cheap Trick fan and Rick is DEFINATELY an overlooked songwriter and guitarist. Never quite got the beard thing though...did he have a price tag attached to it or something? i vaguely remember seeing something dangle from his beard on the "Silver" DVD...

It evolved out of his habit of wearing more than one guitar at a time and switching between them while he played. Rick's a good one for goofiness but it works for him.
