I notice that there's a certain look in art that people automatically find deep and thought-provoking regardless of how superficial the intentions behind it are. Also, many people are more willing to take interest in artists that actually look that way themselves regardless of what their art looks like.

It doesn't bother me too much but I know I don't have that look and never will.

I got watercolours for my birthday. This is my first serious drawing with them. The scanner took away some of the detail and I think it looks better in real life.
