The Enterprise (NX-01) is Starfleet's first NX-class starship and enters service in 2151. She is Starfleet's first warp-capable starship, named "Enterprise".
In 2119, with the start of the Warp 5 program, the foundation stone for the later Enterprise (NX-01) was laid. The Warp 5 complex is inaugurated by Zefram Cochrane himself and Henry Archer is the leader of this project, with the aim of developing the Warp 5 drive so that humans can explore the depths of space.
After the NX program was successfully completed, Starfleet built the NX class and the first ship of this class was named Enterprise. She is the first ship on Earth with Warp 5 drive. The first transporter approved for use on living organisms was also installed on board.
