Batman, Rob Deas style. Purely Fan Art.Always wanted to have a go at Batman and always thought I would go for a more traditional stramlined look. However really like the idea of Batman in a flak type jacket, with plenty of room for his gadgets. By the way the gun holster is holstering his grapple gun.

I'm guessing he's a little insecure about the cod piece hence its its one the inside... that or he liked that added "mystery".

Don't see it myself, the battle armour in the trailer is quite futuristic and sci-fi, which wasn't what I was going for here, trying to go for a more realistic approach. Thanks for the feedback though.

And my opinion? Well, I'm not a fan of it. Sure, it might seem more realistic with this outfit for him to be able to have all his gadgets. But then again, I never thought there was a point for Batman to be realistic. That's why I think Nolan's Batman movies are overrated. Nice drawing, though.

I like Nolan's Batman. Not so keen on Begins but TDK is an awesome movie. The best version of Batman though for me is the Bruce Timm animated series because as much as I like the realistic approach, the fact that characters like Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Killer Croc wouldn't fit into the continuity of Nolan's movies is a major flaw.

While I really love the animated series (I am a big fan of the Batman universe overall), I would have to say the most perfect version for me is the one depicted in the Arkham Asylum game. I have never seen anyone nail the Batman universe this perfect. I could discuss for hours of what I like about it, in comparison to other stuff considering Batman.
