The discharged psychopath known as Coral Snake is acting alone, the deranged remnant of a program ceased by the government. Using past knowledge and skill, Coral Snake continues his operations under the pretense of restarting the gene-splicing Project Typhon for himself. He views Tsunami as a rogue element and seeks to neutralize him with military tactics.

Coral Snake is caught in the explosion when his own bomb detonates inside his base, badly scarring his face and giving him a truly reptilian appearance. Adler is incarcerated at Carfax Sanitarium as one of the more disturbed inmates. Highly trained in ballistics and hand-to-hand combat, Coral Snake is a seasoned fighter as deadly as his namesake.
