Known simply as “The Strong Man” by many, the teen hero has the honor of joining his brother The Karate Clown in the new Crisis Legion. Despite his size, Mikey is no mindless thug. He is a brilliant student with a noble spirit, born with magical super-strength. His power is a gift allowing him to pursue studies in philosophy, the humanities, and magic. He experiments with spells and created the maze-like tattoo on his head - which protects him from mind-affecting spells. It was created using a complex incantation; should his enemies utter precise words like forget, kill, or destroy, the protective mental barrier will activate.

Like his father and brothers, Mikey is an accomplished martial artist and has achieved proper balance and control for someone of his hulking size. Mikey is still the “little” brother in his family and will sometimes act surprisingly childish - tagging along on missions when he is expressly forbidden. Mikey tends to be idealistic and a bit naïve, despite his considerable intellect. It is sometimes difficult to remember he is only 17; but some villains take advantage of his youth and eagerness.
