I actually went through different designs for him, and he was going to have connections to a recurring character. I think this would have been a "jump the shark" moment, as it's hard to tell new stories after facing the dragon that's supposed to destroy the world - and I already had different ideas for how I wanted to end things down the line. So, either way, off he goes to character hell.
